Inter have made it clear to Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez that they expect the 22-year-old to stay focused and to finish the season strongly, despite the interest from Barcelona, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the Blaugrana have been incredibly keen to sign the 22-year-old Argentine forward, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023. The player has a release clause of €111 million, a figure that cannot be met by the Catalan side. Lautaro has been dreaming of a move to Spain for play for Barcelona, alongside friend and compatriot Lionel Messi, but has made it clear that he won’t force a move away this summer.

Lautaro has told Inter that he will fully focus on the end of the season and his mind is only on Inter, the report continues, and the Nerazzurri expect the same, especially considering that Manchester United owned forward Alexis Sanchez is hungry for regular playing time.
