Inter legend Javier Zanetti paid tribute to former Nerazzurri winger Mario Corso in a post on his Instagram page yesterday.

Corso passed away in hospital peacefully yesterday morning at the age of 78. The Italian was a core part of Helenio Herrera’s Grande Inter side and spent 16 years of his career in Milan with the Nerazzurri. He won four league titles, two European Cups and two Intercontinental Cups in that time.

Zanetti posted a photo of himself and Corso alongside the caption: “A heartfelt thought for a wonderful person, a legend of our Inter. I will always remember all the many beautiful moments we had together. Bye Mario.”
