The refereeing assignments for the upcoming round of Serie A fixtures have been announced with Davide Massa assigned to referee Inter’s match against Sassuolo tomorrow evening.

This season Massa has refereed 23 games across all competitions and tomorrow’s encounter will be the first team he referees a match involving Inter this term whilst it will be the second time he referees a match involving Sassuolo.

In the games he has refereed thus far, Massa has went into his pocket and pulled out a yellow card on no less than 121 occasions and he has also handed out eight red cards too.

Giorgio Schenone and Davide Imperiale will be Massa’s assistants at San Siro whilst Daniele Minelli will be the fourth official for the match.

Luigi Nasca has been assigned to take charge of VAR and will have Stefano Alassio alongside to assist him.

Inter come into the match in third place off the back of a win against Sampdoria whilst Sassuolo are sitting in 12th place and come into the game following a 4-1 loss to Atalanta.
