Ezequiel Carboni has confirmed that he will be following his sons to join Inter as a scout from Italian lower league side Catania.

Inter signed the eldest Carboni son a few months ago, wrapped up a deal for the middle brother last week and are also expected to wrap up a deal for the youngest brother, Cristiano, who was born in 2009, just shortly.

Reports in the media have also suggested that Carboni senior would be following his sons and the former Catania player has now confirmed that he will be joining the Nerazzurri in a scouting capacity to begin with.

“There was a word and Inter have kept it on a contractual level. I will meet the club to sign a scouting contract and I will also take a course to acquire an Italian coaching licence,” he explained in an interview with Italian daily newspaper La Sicilia, which appeared in yesterday’s print edition of the Sicilian based news outlet.

Carboni spent three years playing for Catania and also played for Lanus, where he went on to start his coaching career. He has also had a brief spell in charge at Argentinos Juniors.
