Officials from Inter and AC Milan are set to meet with the Milan City Council for further talks over the new stadium project today according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report from the Rome based news outlet explains that today’s meeting will be very important following months of ups and downs between the parties.

Whilst the new project has been given the go ahead, there are still some things needing ironed out, namely the volume of additional buildings that the clubs wish to build as part of their new project in order to give life to the area even when football is not taking place.

From the off the clubs have made it clear that they wish to build hotels, restaurants and shops among other things but the volumes they have requested have always been deemed as too much by the Milan city council.
