Atalanta are hopeful of a bidding war taking place for full back Robin Gosens according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

The German player has drawn links to a whole array of clubs ahead of the upcoming transfer window and this report specifically mentions both Inter and Chelsea as being interested in adding him to their ranks.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is a big fan of Gosens and would like him on the left hand side of his 3-5-2 system in place of Cristiano Biraghi.

Lyon have also been linked with making a move for Gosens elsewhere in the media and the report claims that Atalanta want upward of €35 million for the former Heracles Almelo player, who joined them back in the Summer of 2017.

This term the 25-year-old has starred for Gian Piero Gasperini’s high flyers. In 32 appearances across all competitions to date, Gosens has scored nine goals and has also provided a total of six assists for his teammates.
