Inter and AC Milan are set to go head to head in a battle to sign highly rated Argentine youth national team striker Adolfo Gaich according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter have a long standing interest in the San Lorenzo striker but the report from the Turin based news outlet explains that AC Milan’s interest in him is more concrete and they are prepared to buy him outright.

San Lorenzo, who have also received an expression of interest from Benfica, want at least €15 million for the physically imposing striker.

Gaich has also drawn links to a whole array of other clubs elsewhere in the media with some reports suggesting that Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are also keen on signing him.

This season Gaich, who is out of contract at the end of next season, has scored five goals and tallied one assists in 13 appearances across all competitions to date.
