Inter central defender Milan Skriniar has been hit with a three match suspension and fine following his sending off in last night’s 3-3 draw at home to Sassuolo.

In the dying embers of the match Skriniar picked up a second yellow card and referee Davide Massa showed him a red card.

Skriniar did not take too kindly to be showing red and has been fined €10,000 for comments and gestures he made toward Massa although it is not specified in the sports judge Gerardo Mastrandrea report what the Slovakian national team player said.

With him having a three match suspension to serve, Inter will have to do without the former Sampdoria player for the matches against Parma, Brescia and Bologna.

This season Skriniar, who is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season, has made 35 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, which totals just over 3000 minutes, he has contributed two assists.
