Inter are in the final stages of concluding a deal to sign Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid according to a report from Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

The clubs have a broad agreement in place over the player and are now at the stage of ironing out the final details and the two clubs will have what is described as a decisive call to finalise things tomorrow.

The clubs must decide what will trigger the add-ons and the payment method for the transfer.

As per Di Marzio’s report, the two clubs have an agreement over Hakimi worth €40 million plus €5 million add-ons and the player has also decided that he wants a move to the Nerazzurri club as he considers Inter to be the right project for him despite interest from Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

The report goes on to explain that the deal is at such an advanced stage that Hakimi may not even play for Dortmund this weekend.

Hakimi is coming to the end of a fruitful two year loan spell with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, who he has been in sublime form for this season.

The Moroccan national team full back has made a total of 44 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, he has scored nine goals and provided 10 assists for his teammates.
