Italian broadcaster TeleLombardia director Fabio Ravezzani has shared his belief that the criticism that Inter manager Antonio Conte and Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri have been subjected to as of late has been overboard.

Since the season resumed both managers have come in for criticism both from fans and the media for their respective club’s performances.

As far as Conte is concerned, Inter have won just one of their three competitive games since the season began and drew the other two, one of which cost Inter a place in the Coppa Italia final and the other which has as good as ruled Inter out from winning the Serie A title this term.

As for Sarri, a number of reports in the Italian media have suggested he will not be in charge of the Bianconeri club past the end of this season.

Ravezzani took to social media platform Twitter to share his thoughts and feelings on the criticism that both managers have been subjected to.

He posted: “We are facing real madness of sports criticism. With league games every 3 days you go from being a phenomenon on Wednesday to incapable on Saturday. The Juve and Inter cases are emblematic. Of course they are a little disappointing but the trials of Conte and Sarri more than premature, seem ridiculous today.”
