Sebastiano Esposito could be handed his third league start for Inter in this weekend’s Serie A match away to Parma according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The 17-year-old could start as a result of Lautaro Martinez not being in the best of shape having sustained a knock to his back during the 3-3 draw with Sassuolo at San Siro in mid-week.

The chances of Esposito starting are rising and the Italian youth national team player will play alongside Romelu Lukaku if he does start on Sunday night at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

This would not be the first team that Esposito and Lukaku had started with one another. In a previous start together, Lukaku very kindly gave up the opportunity to take a penalty and handed the ball to Esposito instead who scored his first senior goal for Inter.

Esposito has made 11 appearances at first team level this term and in his time on the park he has scored a single goal.
