Inter are optimistic that they will be able to extend the loan deals of Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez and Nigerian wing back Victor Moses, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are hoping to extend both players’ contracts to the end of August, as the current deals are set to expire at the end of this month, next week. The Coronavirus stop has caused the Serie A season to be massively delayed, like many other leagues around Europe, and so it’s necessary to negotiate extensions for players who are currently on loan, or due to have their contract expire.

The Milanese club have been in talks with Manchester United and Chelsea for some time now, the report continues, and are optimistic that a deal can be reached, especially considering that both players have already reached an agreement with Inter. If the deals aren’t fully finalised on Monday, the Nerazzurri are hoping that the Italian football federation will intervene to help.
