Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini is set to start ahead of Borja Valero in tomorrow evening’s league clash against Parma, according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia earlier today.

The report details how the 26-year-old Italian will start for the Nerazzurri against Parma tomorrow, despite his horrific miss against Sassuolo in the midweek game. With Nicolo Barella set to return to the starting 11, Valero will have to pay the price and will start tomorrow evening’s game on the bench.

Alongside Gagliardini in the midfield there will be Ashley Young and Antonio Candreva, the report continues. The former Atalanta midfielder, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, has made 18 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1198 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals and provided two assists, but has struggled to impress coach Antonio Conte. The player may be sold in the summer.
