Moroccan talent Achraf Hakimi wants to join Inter and has declined interest from Manchester City and Bayern Munich, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the 21-year-old Real Madrid owned right back is keen to join the Nerazzurri and is interested in the current project at the Milanese club. He is set to earn around €5 million net salary per season plus add-ons, signing a five-year contract. Hakimi would cost the Nerazzurri around €40-45 million, an important investment into the squad.

Hakimi has been on Inter’s radar for the last two years at least, the report continues, and now the right formula has been found to bring him to Milan. Coach Antonio Conte is keen to strengthen his wing back department, with neither Antonio Candreva or Victor Moses particularly impressing the Lecce born coach. Hakimi has impressed on loan this season with Borussia Dortmund.
