Real Madrid right back Achraf Hakimi will play a crucial role for Inter and coach Antonio Conte next season, according to a report from German newspaper Bild published yesterday.

The report details how the 21-year-old Moroccan full back impressed whilst on loan with Borussia Dortmund in the last two seasons. The Spanish born right back is a product of Real Madrid’s youth system but won’t return to play for Zinedine Zidane’s squad in the summer, as the Frenchman prefers Dani Carvajal.

Considering the current financial climate, Real Madrid would be happy to sell the player, especially considering that he won’t be a guaranteed starter, the report continues.

Conte will happily deploy Hakimi regularly for the Nerazzurri, and a five-year contract worth €5 million net per season also helped to tempt the Moroccan to Milan. Hakimi has scored nine goals and provided 10 assists in 44 appearances so far this season, being one of the strongest full backs in the league.
