Real Madrid have accepted Inter’s €45 million offer for Borussia Dortmund loanee Achraf Hakimi, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have offered Los Blancos an offer of €40 million and €5 million in add-ons for the 21-year-old Moroccan right back, who has impressed this season whilst on loan with Borussia Dortmund. The player’s medical examinations are scheduled for Tuesday, with a contract being signed upon their successful completion.

Hakimi has been keen to join Inter for several weeks, the report continues, convinced by the Suning project and a desire to play under coach Antonio Conte. The Nerazzurri aren’t in a hurry to close the deal by the end of June, although the Spanish club may prefer to due to budgetary reasons, meaning an official announcement is expected soon. Hakimi will be signing a five-year deal worth €5 million net per season plus add-ons.
