Inter defender Stefan De Vrij and midfielder Nicolo Barella will start against Parma this evening, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how both the Dutchman and the former Cagliari midfielder will start against the Emilian side this evening at the Stadio Enrico Tardini, despite both starting on the bench against Sassuolo in the mid-week game. Coach Antonio Conte is looking to bounce back with a win after a disappointing 2-2 draw against the Neroverdi.

De Vrij will be the backbone in defense, the report continues, and will be able to help supply passes for his teammates in the transition. Barella will guarantee a hardworking ball winning midfielder in Conte’s midfield that will help to supply the attacking duo of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez. The 22-year-old started on the bench against Sassuolo on Wednesday but will start ahead of Alexis Sanchez tonight.
