Another game where Inter concede from the first shot on target. Another game where the defenders looked like they have met each other for the first time before kick-off. Another game where Inter struggled for large parts to create a half decent chance.

This time, however there was light at the end of the tunnel thanks to a smart De Vrij goal and a nice cross from a Moses pirouette that found Bastoni unmarked at the far post. Inter stay 4 points clear of Atalanta and 13 points clear of Roma who were beaten by Milan earlier in the day.

Samir Handanovic – 5: Yet another game where Handa is beaten by the first shot. Didn’t have much to do for the rest of the night apart from a nice Kulusevski shot .

Diego Godin – 5 : It took until injury time in the first half to get to the ball first for Diego who looks a shadow of the player Interisti expected. Struggled throughout.

Stefan de Vrij – 7: Tried his best to control the chaos Parma’s forwards caused. Can only do so much and was often pulled wide to fill the gaps left by Godin and Danilo D’Ambrosio.

Danilo D’Ambrosio – 5.5: Not a good comeback to the team for Danilo. His game was not helped by Candreva being out of position and energy in the first half. Better later.

Antonio Candreva – 5: Yes he works hard and fits the Conte role perfectly, however his defensive work is shoddy and his positioning is atrocious. Shocking in attack.

Nicolo Barella – 5: Nicolo certainly didn’t look anywhere close to fit. Fluffed passes and shots like he’s not trained recently. Hopefully Brozovic is returning soon.

Roberto Gagliardini – 6: Much better performance this time around. Battled for possession and managed to get into Parma’s box a few times. Showed some mental strength.

Cristiano Biraghi – 5.5: Played really well against Sassuolo but struggled against the pace. The attacking play was shoddy to say the least, marginally better after the break.

Christian Eriksen – 5.5: Barely got a touch of the ball where it mattered. Christian is the main creative force but he cant create anything if he doesn’t have the ball. Tired?

Romelu Lukaku – 5.5: Romelu looked increasingly frustrated with the wayward crossing and passes into the box. Was always looking to get involved and create something.

Lautaro Martinez – 6: Lost his cool with the ref fairly early and then tried to smash anything and everything. When he calmed down he can keep his composure to assist.

Alexis Sanchez – 7: Alexis revived what was a dead Inter attack tonight until the 70th minute. Always running and it was his chasing that won the corner to level the game.

Victor Moses – 6.5: Moses delivered some impact from the bench. Yes he made a couple of bad decisions but that cross to Bastoni was a great piece of brilliance.

Ashley Young – 6: Kept his flank quiet and could have so easily managed to score tonight. Along with Bastoni he made sure that Kulusevski didn’t cause any more harm.

Alessandro Bastoni – 7: Game by game, minute by minute the €30 million look like a steal. As always played with a calm head and the goal will give the team belief.

Borja Valero – N/A: Borja came on after Inter went into the lead as a time wasting sub, still managed to win a couple of free kicks and waste valuable time at the end

Antonio Conte – 4: The 3 points are important, however basic defensive errors still continue to happen. The attack was barely existent until the last 10 minutes or so.

Fabio Maresca – 3: Not sure how the handball was missed in the Parma box. Didn’t use VAR then. Some 50-50 calls that troubled both the benches. Didn’t have control.

Inter – 4: For large portions of the game it looked like the players went away for the last 3 days and met on the morning of the game. Need massive improvement and soon.
