Negotiations between Inter and Real Madrid over Achraf Hakimi are at a very advanced stage and it is seemingly only a matter of hours until everything will be ironed out according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The two clubs have come to an agreement over a €40 million plus €5 million in add-ons deal for the 21-year-old Moroccan national team full back.

Real Madrid do not have a buy back option as part of the deal but the report from the Rome based news outlet claims that they will be given the chance to match any future offers that Inter receive for Hakimi.

Hakimi has spent the past two seasons out on loan at Borussia Dortmund and his performances for the German club have led to him being considered as one of the best full back prospects out there at the moment.

This season he has made 45 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored nine goals and tallied 10 assists.
