Barcelona central defender Clement Lenglet has insisted that he is happy to be with Barcelona amid links over a potential move to Inter in the coming months.
Barcelona have been in talks with Inter over striker Lautaro Martinez in recent weeks and months and reports in the media have suggested that Inter have an interest in signing French national team player Lenglet from them.
“These rumours are difficult to comment on. I am very happy at Barcelona, I play regularly, the city is beautiful, I just had my first child,” he explained in an interview with the online edition of French news outlet Le Parisien.
The 25-year-old joined Barcelona from fellow La Liga side Sevilla back in 2018 and has three years left to run on his contract at the Camp Nou, where he has been a regular starter this term.
Lenglet has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the park, which totals just shy of 2800 minutes, he has scored three goals and provided a single assist for his teammates.
