Inter look unrecognisable and are not playing like a team managed by Antonio Conte according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

In Inter’s last 17 games across all competitions, they have managed to record just two clean sheets in total. In the league, Inter have conceded 29 goals in 28 games which is more goals than any of Conte’s Juventus sides conceded.

The mitigating factor is that the post-Coronavirus lockdown matches have had no logic to them. There have been many games played in quick succession, games have been played in the Summer heat and there has also been excessive turnover of players.

The report also goes on to state that Inter’s struggles only highlight their lack of depth and quality available to them off of the bench, even if it was a pair of substitutes who combined for Inter’s winning goal in this past weekend’s 2-1 win over Parma.
