Inter risk having Ivan Perisic return unless they give Bayern Munich a big discount according to a report in today’s print edition of German news outlet Sport BILD.

The Croatian national team winger joined the recently crowned Bundesliga champions on a season long loan this past Summer and as part of the deal Bayern Munich secured a €20 million option to buy.

The option has expired and the clubs agreed to hold talks over Perisic’s future at a later date and as things stand Bayern Munich may not sign him outright thus meaning he would return to Inter, who had thought they had seen the last of him.

Inter still want €20 million for Perisic whilst Bayern Munich want him for half of that due to the fact his annual gross wages are in the region of €10-11 million.

Whilst on loan at the Bavaria based club, the former Borussia Dortmund player has made 30 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored six goals and tallied nine assists.
