Inter have not given up when it comes to signing Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter’s fellow Serie A side Lazio moved strongly to sign the Albanian national team player last week and following their meeting with Hellas Verona, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio then met with Kumbulla’s representatives.

Ausilio and his representatives had an informal chat to monitor the situation and reaffirm that Inter are still interested in signing the highly rated youngster, who has had a first team breakthrough at Hellas Verona this season.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter are also looking to add a new left back to their ranks in the upcoming transfer window and have three players in mind with those players being Chelsea duo Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso and Barcelona’s Junior Firpo.
