Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that he will hold talks with the club over a possible contract renewal.

The Gabonese national team player’s current contract with the club is due to expire at the end of next season and there has been no shortage of speculation about his future.

Some reports have suggested Arsenal could offload him to avoid losing him for nothing next Summer whilst others have stated if he does not sign a contract renewal they might just keep him and lose him for nothing if they cannot get a good deal for him.

He has been linked with Inter and Barcelona among a number of other clubs.

“We’ll see. We’ll talk with the club and see what happens. I’m really focused on the games. Since Mikel has been in, we’re doing well. We’re working well. We have signs we are improving,” the former Borussia Dortmund player explained to the media following the Gunners win over Norwich last night.

The 31-year-old has made 36 appearances across all competitions to date this term. During his time on the park, which totals just over 3000 minutes, he has scored 22 goals and provided his teammates with a total of two assists.
