Emerson Palmieri’s agent is in Milan to try and reach an agreement with Inter over the price of his client according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.

Inter have developed a keen interest in signing the Italian national team full back and his agent is in Milan knowing that Chelsea want in the region of €30 million for the 25-year-old, who has been with Chelsea since January 2018.

The report goes on to explain that over the past few weeks Inter have been in contact with legal experts regarding whether the new Italian tax laws can apply to Emerson which would enable them to make a substantial saving when it comes to paying his wages.

This season Emerson, who is reportedly open to a move to Inter and under contract with Chelsea until 2022, has made 19 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided a single assist.
