Inter are considering making a €20 million move to sign Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United according to a report from Goal.com.

Inter and Manchester United came to a gentleman’s agreement to give Inter a chance to sign him outright for €25 million but Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is eyeing a cut price deal.

The Chilean national team player is currently on loan at Inter until the end of the first week in August and the report explains that Inter are refusing to give up hope that they can agree a loan extension to allow him to play in the latter stages of the Europa League.

Manchester United are reluctant to agree to a loan extension due to having fears that the player could get injured which would thus make things difficult for them when it comes to trying to offload him, with them open to offers for the former Barcelona player.
