Inter are looking to keep Manchester United owned forward Alexis Sanchez but a deal may be difficult, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

The report details how the 31-year-old Chilean forward has impressed coach Antonio Conte this season whilst on loan with the Nerazzurri, despite missing a large part of the season due to injury.

Conte believes Sanchez to be a top player and so everything is being done to keep the player in Milan. Inter would like to sign Sanchez on another dry loan, the report continues, but will pay more of the player’s €12 million salary, in order to try and convince the Red Devils to agree to the deal.

Manchester United would like to sell the player definitively instead, but for the moment no offers have arrived and the player himself would like to stay in Milan. Sanchez has scored two goals and provided six assists in 20 appearances this season.
