Inter manager Antonio Conte and members of the club’s management had an hour long meeting with the squad in the dressing room following yesterday’s 2-1 loss to Bologna according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Although Inter were comfortably in control for most of the match and had plenty of chances to extend their lead, they ultimately failed to do so and ended up losing after Bologna scored twice in quick succession near the end of the match.

The report claims that the match was not analysed during the meeting and Conte was absolutely furious with the players for managing to throw the game away.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta, sporting director Piero Ausilio and team manager Gabriele ‘Lele’ Oriali were also in attendance.

Due to being in the dressing room for so long after the match, former Italian national team manager Conte never began post-match media duties until 90 minutes after the full time whistle.
