Inter manager Antonio Conte has failed to change Inter this term with his side proving to just be the same as every other post-treble winning season side according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The former Italian national team manager was brought in to replace Luciano Spalletti in the hope that he could transform Inter’s post-treble winning fortunes but he has been unsuccessful in doing so.

Since Inter’s historic 2009/10 treble winning season under Jose Mourinho, Inter appear to have had a mental hurdle that they have been unable to get over.

In the years since the treble, each Inter side seem to collapse in crucial moments and always stumble towards the end of the season.

Conte has managed Inter in 41 matches across all competitions to date since taking over this past Summer. The former Juventus boss has won 24 of his games in charge.
