Inter have submitted an offer to Chelsea for Italian international wing-back Emerson Palmieri according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

As per the report, Inter have tabled a €25 million plus €5 million in add-ons offer for the Brazilian born naturalised Italian full back.

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has been demanding €30 million for the 25-year-old defender but the feeling is that a deal can be struck on the above basis.

Emerson currently earns €3 million a year at Chelsea and Inter, thanks to the Italian tax laws, have been able to offer him a five year contract with an improved annual salary of €4 million.

Emerson came through the ranks at Brazilian giants Santos and prior to joining Roma on a permanent basis, he had a loan spell with Palermo. He has been with Chelsea since January 2018 and is contracted to the Premier League outfit until the end of the 2021/22 season.
