Italian broadcaster TeleLombardia director Fabio Ravezzani has shared his belief that whilst Inter manager Antonio Conte remains a great manager, he has not done enough this year.

Ravezzani’s comments, which he made via his official Twitter profile, come following Inter’s disappointing 2-1 loss to Bologna at San Siro yesterday evening.

Inter took the lead via Romelu Lukaku but failed to capitalise on the many chances they had to extend their lead and also missed a penalty too.

Bologna equalised with 15 minutes to spare through youngster Musa Juwara and then minutes later they took the lead through Musa Barrow. Inter were unable to respond to the Rossoblu’s quickfire double and have as good as ended their chances of Serie A title glory by throwing away yesterday’s match.

Inter are now in third place in the table and are some 11 points behind arch rivals and current league leaders Juventus, who are on the verge of snapping up yet another title.

Ravezzani posted: “Inter committed suicide by making a mistake (Lautaro) and retorted (Gaglia) at 1-0 with an extra man (following the strange sending off of Soriano). Eriksen was very bad, he is athletically insufficient. Conte remains a great coach, but this year he too has been under sufficient. Too many goals conceded.”
