Italian broadcaster TeleLombardia director Fabio Ravezzani has taken to social media to voice his views on Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri and Inter manager Antonio Conte.
Both Sarri and Conte have come in for some criticism as of late in the media and Ravezzani has insisted that what they do must be evaluated at the end of the season.
Ravezzani, who is also a presenter on ‘Qui studio a voi stadio’, posted the following on his official Twitter profile: “You evaluate the work of a coach at the end of the season. Sarri has been asked to reach the semi final of the Champions League, win the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia or the Supercoppa.
“For Conte it is qualification for the Champions League or to reach the final of the Europa League, finish in second place in the league and a good Coppa Italia performance. Based on these expectations, they have both been insufficient.”
Un allenatore si valuta al termine della stagione. A Sarri si chiedeva almeno semifinale di Champions, scudetto e C Italia o Supercoppa. A Conte qualificazione in Champions (o finale EL), secondo posto e bella C Italia. Sotto queste attese, sarebbero entrambi insufficienti.
