AC Milan have joined the race to sign Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Whilst the Rossoneri have far from overtaken Inter in the race to sign him their interest in the highly rated Italian must be taken into consideration due to the fact Inter are yet to strike a deal with Brescia over him yet.

Tonali remains closer to Inter than he does to a move to AC Milan due to the fact Inter have a good relationship with his agent Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Bozzo.

There has been talk of a €30 million deal but Inter and Brescia are yet to shake hands and agree to any deal at time of publication.

Juventus also have an interest in the 20-year-old, who has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In his time on the park, he has scored one goal and provided six assists for his teammates.
