Inter are continually evaluating the possibility of holding on to Alexis Sanchez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Chilean national team forward is currently on loan at Inter until around this time next month but with Manchester United seemingly having very little desire for the player to return Inter are thinking about trying to keep him although the report does not specify whether that will be on another loan or in a permanent transfer.

The former Barcelona and Arsenal player has the remaining eight games of the 2019/20 Serie A season to prove himself and show Inter management that they should keep him around.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to add that he will start in tonight’s match away to Hellas Verona alongside former Manchester United teammate Romelu Lukaku.

It will be the third time the pair partner one another in the attack and in each of the previous matches, Sanchez has tallied an assist whilst Lukaku has scored.
