Inter are not the only club to have an interest in signing Mario Mandzukic according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

As per Di Marzio’s report, which appeared on his website, Fiorentina and Benevento are both also interested in signing the Croatian forward, who has recently become a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with Qatar Stars League side Al Duhail.

Benevento have conducted some enquiries as they look to bolster their squad ahead of their return to Serie A next season whilst Fiorentina have also enquired to see if a deal for the former Bayern Munich player is feasible.

The 34-year-old is no stranger to Italian football having previously played for Juventus, as recently as earlier on this season. Whilst at Juventus he made 162 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored 44 goals and provided 18 assists for his Bianconeri teammates.
