Inter Owned Midfielder Radja Nainggolan: “I Have No Preferences When It Comes To My Future”

Inter owned midfielder Radja Nainggolan has admitted that he has no preferences when it comes to his footballing future.

The Belgian is currently out on loan at Cagliari and has drawn links to many clubs ahead of the upcoming transfer window including both Napoli and Fiorentina whilst it has also been suggested in some reports that he could be reintegrated at Inter.

“They [the media] have been talking about me for ten years, wherever I go I always take it calmly,” he explained in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia following last night’s goalless draw with Fiorentina.

“I am focusing on this team because they are great guys, I’m having fun. We will see what happens next year. Preferences? No, I am having fun.”

He was then asked about his chat with Franck Ribery after the match and whether the Frenchman could perhaps convince him to join Fiorentina over other clubs.

“Ribery is a great champion, I have respect for everyone. Hats off to him for being so physically fit at his age. We have known each other for a long time, we had a chat. Playing with him? Playing with champions is always nice.”

Nainggolan joined Inter in a player plus cash deal from Roma in the Summer of 2018 but after just a year into a four year deal, club management judged him to be out of the club’s project which led to him being loaned out to the Rossoblu.
