Inter attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen has admitted that he is really happy to be at Inter in a video shared across Inter’s social media platforms a short while ago.

The Danish national team player joined Inter in a circa €20 million transfer deal from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in the most recent January transfer window in a four and a half year deal.

He started by recalling his first Inter match and how it felt to play at San Siro for the first time as an Inter player.

“I am here today to tell you a tale, my tale. When I played my first game here, I remember everyone was looking at me, I felt like the world was looking at me. It was incredible to be at the stadium, feel the atmosphere and everything that was around,” he explained.

The former Ajax player then went on to speak about how he has settled in to his new surroundings in Milan.

“I felt welcomed from the beginning and have loved every minute on the pitch. Luckily we got a result and went through. I am happy to be here and it’s very nice.”

Since his arrival at the club, the 28-year-old has made 15 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided just as many assists for his teammates. Eriksen has had some very good performances but has also left a lot to be desired about many of his others.
