Romelu Lukaku’s condition will become clearer today according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Belgian national team striker was seen clutching both his back and right thigh persistently shortly before being substituted near the end of last night’s 2-2 draw away to Hellas Verona at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi.

Following the match Inter manager Antonio Conte shared his hopes that it was nothing serious and it now remains to be seen what the extent of both injuries are with Inter certainly worried by the prospect of losing their top goalscorer.

Lukaku joined Inter in a club record €65 million transfer from Premier League side Manchester United this past Summer and has netted 26 goals in his first season with the club.

He has made 42 appearances across all competitions to date and in just under 3500 minutes, he has also provided five assists for his Nerazzurri teammates.
