Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti has reiterated that Inter’s aim is to go all the way in the Europa League, when speaking to UEFA’s official Twitter account, following the draw for the latter stages earlier on today.

Inter can face either Rangers or Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter finals of the competition, which will be contested in August across four cities in Germany but as Zanetti rightly points out, Inter have to get past Spanish outfit Getafe in the last 16 first.

“When you get to this stage of the competition, all teams are very difficult. Bayer Leverkusen and Glasgow Rangers are teams we have already crossed in the past, but first we must overcome a complicated team in Getafe.

“It’s a very prestigious tournament, we hope to go all the way,” he remarked in an interview with tournament organisers UEFA’s official website.

If Inter are to get past Getafe and then either or Rangers or Bayer Leverkusen they can face one of Shakhtar Donetsk, Wolfsburg, Basel and Eintracht Frankfurt at the semi final stage of the competition.

The Nerazzurri, who have won the competition three times in their history, could then face with favorites Manchester United, Wolverhampton, Roma or Sevilla in the Final which will be played on August 21.
