Inter are assessing what to do with midfielder Marcelo Brozovic for drink driving and losing his license and may take measures against him, according to a report from Italian journalist Matteo Barzaghi

The report details how the 27-year-old Croatian midfielder, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2022, was caught on Friday night drink driving, after running a red light in Milan.

The 2018 World Cup winner had his license revoked as punishment. The club are currently evaluating the situation and are considering taking measures against the player.

Barzaghi wrote on Instagram: “Brozovic issue (license withdrawn). Inter are aware of the situation. Assessments will be made and, if necessary, action will be taken. In the meantime, he has arrived at training accompanied by Skriniar.”
