Juventus and Inter are both interested in signing Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo this summer, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Giallorossi will be forced to sell the 21-year-old Italian forward this summer, given their financial woes and that it’s unlikely that they’ll qualify for next season’s Champions League. Roma are currently 14 points behind 4th place Inter.

Both Juventus and Inter are interested in signing Zaniolo and are set to fight for his signature. Inter sold Zaniolo to Roma in the summer of 2018, as part of the deal to sign Roma’s Radja Nainggolan.

Considering how the Belgian midfielder was loaned out to Cagliari after only one season, it’s likely that the Milanese club would like to undo their mistake, the report continues.

Zaniolo has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 27 appearances so far this season, after suffering a cruciate ligament rupture earlier this season.
