Manchester United are looking to beat out rivals City for the signature of Inter defender Milan Skriniar and have submitted a €65 million offer for the player, according to a report from English tabloid The Mirror earlier today.

The report details how both Manchester clubs are keen to sign the 25-year-old Slovakian defender, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023. The player was previously considered nor for sale by the Milanese club, but he has struggled to adapt to coach Antonio Conte’s three-man defense and could be sold in the summer for the right price, the report continues.

Inter are ready to evaluate any offers for the player, the report continues, and the Red Devils haven’t wasted any time in starting talks.

In order to beat out their rivals for Skriniar’s signature, Manchester United have submitted a €65 million offer for the 25-year-old. The Slovakian has made 36 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 3122 minutes.
