Inter central midfielder Roberto Gagliardini has admitted that he and his teammates are hoping to get back to winning ways in tonight’s affair with Torino, which is due to kick off just shortly.

Inter head into this match at San Siro having failed to win either of their previous two Serie A matches and the Italian has revealed that preparations for the match have went well.

“It is very important today to bring home the three points after two negative results,” he began an interview with Inter’s official club broadcaster Inter TV, a short time ago.

“We have prepared well and we know what we need to do. In these days it is important to stay at home and recover energy and then run as much as possible in the game.”

Moments later he spoke with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia and spoke on manager Antonio Conte.

“When he speaks the important thing is to understand what he wants from us. It is not an easy moment, we have to listen to him and demonstrate on the pitch that we have understood his requests.”

Gagliardini joined Inter on loan from Atalanta in January 2017 and was purchased outright at the end of that season. The 26-year-old, who has a contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season, is set to make his 23rd appearance of the season tonight with him in the starting XI.

In his 22 appearances across all competitions to date so far, Gagliardini has scored three goals and provided a total of two assists for his teammates.
