Matias Vecino will miss Inter’s match tonight against Torino due to the same knee problem that has been giving him trouble for some time now according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Uruguayan national team midfielder has a consultation with Professor Ramon Cugat, who advised him to go with special physiotherapy to help him recover from his injury opposed to going under the knife.

In addition to Vecino, Inter manager Antonio Conte will also have to do without both Nicolo Barella and Stefano Sensi for the match at San Siro.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that there is cautious optimism that Barella may be able to get back on the field for the match with Roma or at the very least be available for selection again.

It is as yet unclear when injury prone Sensi will be able to make a return to action from his latest in a long line of injury set-backs.
