Inter owned defender Federico Dimarco has revealed that it is possible that he could stay with loan club Hellas Verona past the end of the season.

The full back joined the high flying Gialloblu club on a six month loan in the most recent January transfer window and has admitted that things will be evaluated with regard to a potential permanent stay at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi come the end of the season.

“Will I stay at Verona for a long time? This is a possibility, we will evaluate things at the end of the season,” he explained in an interview with sports broadcaster DAZN following last night’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina.

Dimarco is a product of Inter’s academy and has made a total of six appearances at first team level. Dimarco left Inter for FC Sion in 2017 but Inter re-signed him the following Summer. He has also had loan spells at Ascoli, Empoli and Parma.

This season he has made 11 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided a single assist for his teammates.
