Inter manager Antonio Conte sent a precise signal to both Christian Eriksen and the club with his decision to once again start Eriksen on the bench in last night 3-1 win over Torino according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The Danish national team attacking midfielder started on the bench for the second consecutive game and 35-year-old Borja Valero has been preferred to him in each of the games.

Inter brought Eriksen to the club in a four and a half year deal from Tottenham Hotspur in the most recent January transfer window and this report goes on to suggest that there is no chemistry between Eriksen and Conte.

Since his arrival at the club, the former Ajax player, who joined for circa €20 million, has made 16 appearances across all competitions to date, during which he has scored three goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
