Inter are not considering the possibility of selling Christian Eriksen in the upcoming transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter are not thinking about moving him on just months after his arrival at the club and although he has not performed to expectations, the club remain convinced about his qualities as a player, regardless of manager Antonio Conte’s recent decision to start him on the bench.
The Nerazzurri club intend to give Danish national team attacking midfielder Eriksen at least a full year at the club to prove himself.
Eriksen arrived in the January transfer window in a circa €20 million deal from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur on a four and a half year contract and he is the joint highest earner at the club alongside Romelu Lukaku.
Since his arrival, the former Ajax player has made 16 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and tallied three assists.
