Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is on Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola’s wishlist for the upcoming transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Guardiola will have a transfer kitty of at least €150 million to spend as City look to overhaul their squad ahead of the new season were they will look to win the Premier League title back from Liverpool.

Lautaro is viewed as the ideal heir to compatriot Sergio Aguero at the Etihad Stadium and the highly rated 22-year-old is just one of many players believed to be on former Barcelona boss Guardiola’s wishlist.

City are however not the only club with an interest in signing Lautaro, who has been continuously linked with a potential switch to Barcelona for a considerable amount of time.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Napoli centre back Kalidou Koulibaly, Bayern Munich’s David Alaba and Valencia’s Ferran Torres are all also on the Citizens radar.
