Inter are tracking one of Chelsea duo Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Italia, which was aired late last night.

The Nerazzurri would like to sign a player capable of playing at both left wing-back and left centre back in the upcoming transfer window, the report continues.

Bayern Munich’s David Alaba is a player capable of playing both roles but if Inter end up settling to sign just a left wing-back, but they will more than likely sign one of Chelsea duo Emerson Palmieri or Marcos Alonso.

The Nerazzurri club have already bolstered their right wing-back department with the €45 million signing of Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid and they want to similarly bolster the opposite side.

Reports elsewhere in the media have claimed that Chelsea want in the region of €30 million for Emerson and others have stated that Inter have in fact already agreed personal terms with the Italian national team player, who has been with his current employers since 2018.
