Mario Mandzukic’s representatives are in talks with Fiorentina over a potential free transfer according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
The Croatian national team striker recently terminated his contract with Qatar Stars League side Al Duhail and is currently on holiday but his representatives are at work trying to find him a new club.
As per the report, La Viola have put a two year contract with an option of a third year on the table and it is understood that Mandzukic is tempted by the prospect of playing for the Florence based club.
The report goes on to add that Mandzukic could take a few days before coming to a final decision in order to see what other offers, if any arrive.
The former Juventus player has been linked with a potential move to Inter in recent weeks with reports stating Inter manager Antonio Conte would like him signed to bolster his attacking options.
